What is paper trading?
Paper trading is simulated trading: you place buy and sell orders with virtual money at real market prices, and track the profit or loss as if the trade were real — without any real money changing hands.
Are paper trading results the same as real trading?
Not exactly. Simulated trades do not include brokerage, taxes, slippage or liquidity limits, and there is no emotional cost. Treat results as practice, not as a promise of real returns.
Can I short sell in paper trading?
